Scam Warning.
This just happened to me. I got an unsolicited phone call from a marketer offering to teach me the ropes for free if I just give them a good testimonial for their website. Then the guy said I could choose different levels depending on how aggressive or conservatively I want to make money. $10,000, $12,000 or $14,000. Just put it on my credit card and I'd earn back all that money in 6 months, guaranteed. So, I'm "actually not spending any money at all", and I'm "not buying anything, it's an investment". I ended the call, stalled for time, googled the guy (not good reviews) and he kept calling over and over a dozen times till I answered and told him I didn't want to participate in the program. He then began insulting me, much like he did in his first phone call. How can these people live with themselves? Anyway, if you'd like to know who this particular marketer is, email me. But with Chris Malta's tips in these videos you should be able to spot them pretty easily.

This beautiful infographic by Permuto shows to which sectors the web ecommerce money is going. There are several categories that online sales lead in sales over retail stores such as books and magazines, clothing, and electronics. Niche Marketing Techniques

If you've been in online marketing for any amount of time, you've probably heard about niches. Niches are the most profitable method of marketing products online. However, in order to make niche marketing work for you, you've got to find the right keywords for your products and websites. To do good keyword research, you need to use your brain. While there are keyword research tools available (and most of them cost money), there is really no substitute for thinking. Put yourself in the position of your potential customers. Ask yourself what someone would type into a search engine if they were looking for what you sell.
Come up with as many words or strings of words as you can. The best keywords are strings of three or more words, called long-tailed keywords. Long-tailed keywords bring in the most targeted traffic, since they're very specific. For most campaigns, you should start out with a list of at least 10 long-tailed keywords. The next step in conducting good niche keyword research is to determine if the keywords are profitable, and how much competition there is for those words. Type your keywords into a search engine, preferably Google. Put quotation marks around the words. If the results you get are less than 10,000, and if there are paid ads on the search results page, then the keywords are probably good ones to use. Too many results, and the words have too much competition. If there aren't any paid ads, the words probably aren't profitable.
Make Money Online

While there are several ways to do this, review sites tend to work the best. People are always looking for information to help them make a decision about what to buy. So, the first thing you should do is find a few affiliate products related to your niche and then put up a website that compares those products. If you can actually use these products yourself, your reviews will sound much more authentic, but you can get by without this step if you have to.
When writing the copy for your review site, you should keep the writing short, yet informative. People shy away from reading lengthy paragraphs of unbroken information online. Two to three paragraphs of three to four sentences in length should be sufficient. Make sure you point out the benefits of each product you're reviewing, but include minor flaws, as well. Don't overdo it on the negatives, unless the product is truly awful. People tend to trust reviews more if there are some caveats listed in them. Highlight the product you deem the best value for the money, and make it clear this is your opinion. Finally, be sure to include links to the merchant pages of each product, and make sure those links are embedded with your affiliate code.
Make Money in Niche Marketing

Beginners to internet marketing often think that narrowing down their focus to a small selection of people who might be interested in a specific product will diminish the amount of money they can make. However, this is not the case. Niche marketing is actually proven to increase profits by focusing on people who know exactly what they want and are ready to buy it. These people have usually gone through all of the preliminary research they need to make a purchasing decision. With the right marketing techniques, you can reach them right at the moment they've decided to buy.
GoArticles and EzineArticles are two of the most popular repositories online, and you should definitely use them. Google especially loves EzineArticles, so your writings have a good chance of showing up on the first page of results for your keywords, if you've chosen them correctly. When writing an article, you must first choose what keywords you'll be using. These are the words that people are the most likely to search for when looking for information on your product or service online. Use the keywords once in the article's title, once in the first paragraph, once in the last paragraph, and three to four times throughout the body of the article. Keep the article from 300 to 400 words and break it up into short paragraphs and bulleted lists.
You must also keep your articles informative rather than promotional. No article repository will accept blatantly promotional material, since that makes the repository show up as spam in the search engines. At the end of the article, you can include a brief couple of sentences about you and your product, and include a link to your website where readers can find out more. Once you've got a few articles out there working for you, you'll almost certainly start to see the real financial benefits of article marketing.
Niche Blueprint has some amazing new traffic generation tactics and tools including Article Blueprint which creates multiple versions of a single article and automatically submits them to our network of high PR directories.

Niche Marketing Success

The Internet is a big place and there are thousands of people competing with you. If you just focus on broad categories of people, such as adults or homeowners, you'll probably get lost in the vast sea of other people promoting to this same enormous group. However, by narrowing your focus, you'll get traffic that's much more likely to convert. For example, instead of focusing on people with pets, focus on cat owners who want to feed their pets a natural diet, or dog owners who want to buy sports-themed clothing for Fido and Spot. If you can find a niche that's looking specifically for the product you're promoting, and if that hasn't got a lot of competition marketing to it already, your chances of making sales will go up a lot higher.
The more narrow you can make your promotional focus, the better you'll do. Your websites may not get as many clicks as you're used to seeing, but those clicks will be far more valuable to you. With niche marketing, you'll see your conversion rates go up and your bank account swell. All it takes to use niche marketing to increase your earnings is a little time to research which niches are potentially the most profitable. Then, you can tweak your campaigns to focus on your chosen niches and watch the money roll in.
